In the absence of the President, the First Vice President shall perform all the duties of the President. The First
Vice President shall serve as Chairperson of the Activities and Membership Committee.
The First Vice President shall, during his/her term of office, screen the Chapter membership, contact prospective
committee chairpersons and members, and have all appointments ready for presentation upon taking office as
President.
The First Vice President shall perform all special Executive Committee duties which may be assigned by the
President or the Executive Committee.
The First Vice President shall;
- serve as Chairperson of the Activities and Membership Committee.
- serve as Co-Chair of the Training Committee.
- contact prospective committee chairpersons and members, making ready for
presentation upon taking office of the President.
- perform all special Executive Committee duties, assigned by the President.
- pay full registration for all conferences, unless they are the host of the conference.
- pay for his/her own room at the conference, unless compensated rooms are available
